Fastball

You may remember their big hit a few years back called "The Way" that was mixed by Bob's good friend, Chris Lord-Alge. Well, after a five-year hiatus (since their last Clearmountain-mixed LP) they're back with "Little White Lies", produced by Miles Zuniga and C.J. Eiriksson.

Jonatha Brooke This is simply an amazing album. A magical combination of Woodie Guthrie words with Jonatha's haunting melodies and chords makes it one for which you'll have your iPod on 'repeat album'. Basic tracks recorded at Avitar in NY over two days with Steve Gadd, Joe Sample and Christian McBride, they were two of BC's favorite sessions to date. It's produced by Jonatha & Bob.

Simple Minds >

These guys just keep crankin' out great albums! This one really sounds like a classic 'Minds LP with simply great songs. Produced by Jez Coad, it won't let you down!

Simple Minds

Stones07

You may not have heard of these guys but they're actually getting to be quite popular. Now if they can just stay together long enough to really make it... without falling out of a tree or something.
Bob mixed most of their 4 DVD set from the 1st year of their Bigger Bang tour, and he also mixed their Martin Scorsese-directed live concert movie, filmed at the Beacon Theater in New York, that he recorded with David Hewitt in his fantastic Remote Recording Services truck. And there's an album to go with it!
(We know, this project is a bit old, but it was a big deal to BC!)

Here's a snapshot taken on the last day of the film mix at Soundtrack, NY. Left to right: BC, Tass Filipos (music editor), David Tedeschi (film editor), Martin Scorsese (director), Mick Jagger (vocalist), Philip Stockton (ADR editor) and Tom Fleischman (re-recording mixer)

Johhny Hallyday->
Bob recently mixed Johnny's latest great album, "Ca ne Finira Jamais" for Warner Bros. Records, France. It was produced by Philippe Uminski and A&R'd by Jef Cahours.

Johnny Hallyday

Glenn Tilbrook

This unbelievably talented Squeeze veteran has produced a tremendous new album with his other band, "The Fluffers". Bob, being a huge Squeeze fan, jumped at the chance to mix this one called "Pandemonium Insues", and advises everyone to also jump to buy and listen to it. We guarantee you'll be glad you did.

Bruce Springsteen>

Bob mixed a brilliant song for Bruce called "The Wrestler" that was used over the closing credits of the Mickey Rourke film of the same name. The song won a Golden Globe award! It was produced by Bruce and recorded by Toby Scott.

Patti Scialfa

<Patti Scialfa

Bob has known Patti since they both worked at Mediasound Studios in NY during the 70's. Bob used to engineer demos for her during off-hours. He's mixed her third brilliantly soulful album titled "Play It As It Lays" here at Mix This! that was produced by Ron Aniello, with help from Steve Jordan and Bruce Springsteen.

Ghost Hounds

The Ghost Hounds are a great local LA band produced by Bob's old friend, Nile Rogers. It was the first time Nile & Bob had worked together since Bowie's "Let's Dance" LP. Bob and Brandon Duncan tracked it for them at Bob's Berkeley St. Studio on the same Neve 8068 console that Nile & Bob had recorded Chic's hit album, C'est Chic on. BC mixed the Hounds' album here at Mix This!
You can play along with their song, "Ashes to Fire" with the new version of Guitar Hero.

Marti Pellow>

Marti has been the crooning frontman for the multi-platinum Scottish group Wet, Wet, Wet since the 80's. BC recently mixed his latest excellent self-produced solo album due out in the coming months.

Bryan Ferry

<Bryan Ferry

Being somewhat of a Bob Dylan fan, Bryan has added to his aggregation of cover albums with this fascinating collection of some of Dylan's greatest songs, titled "Dylanesque". It was a pleasure for Bob to work with producer Rhett Davies once again on this extremely satisfying offering.

Bryan and Rhett are heading back to LA soon to mix another great album they've been working on!

Landon Dunning->
A while back, Bob's stepdaughter, Alex asked him to listen to her friend's demo CD. He couldn't believe what he was hearing! He thought she was amazing. He got to mix her edgy debut album "One Woman Army" that came out in January, '08 on her own, Matriarch label. It was brilliantly produced by Drew K. You gotta hear this—she rocks!

Some friends, including Jon Brion and one of Bob's heros, Eddie Kramer came over for dinner one evening. Eddie impressed us all with his remarkable cooking skills in our new outdoor kitchen.
