Landon Dunning->
A while back, Bob's stepdaughter, Alex asked him to listen to her friend's demo CD. He couldn't believe what he was hearing! He thought she was amazing. He got to mix her edgy debut album "One Woman Army" that's coming out in January, '08 on her own, Matriarch label. It was brilliantly produced by Drew K. and she's managed by Warren Wyatt. You gotta hear this—she rocks!

Stones07

You may not have heard of these guys but they're actually getting to be quite popular. Now if they can just stay together long enough to really make it... without falling out of a tree or something.
Bob mixed most of their 4 DVD set from the 1st year of their Bigger Bang tour, and he recently mixed their Martin Scorsese-directed live concert movie, filmed at the Beacon Theater in New York, that he recorded with David Hewitt in his fantastic Remote Recording Services truck.
The film should be out in April, 2008

Here's a snapshot taken on the last day of the film mix at Soundtrack, NY. Left to right: BC, Tass Filipos (music editor), David Tedeschi (film editor), Martin Scorsese (director), Mick Jagger (vocalist), Philip Stockton (ADR editor) and Tom Fleischman (re-recording mixer)

Johhny Hallyday->
Johnny's latest album, "Le Coeur d'un Homme" is a bit of a departure for one of the biggest rock artists in France. It's quite acoustic and blues-based. Bob mixed the album at ICP Studios in Belgium for Warner Bros. Records, France. It was produced by Yvan Cassar and A&R'd by Jef Cahours.

Adams

<Bryan Adams

Yes, after all these years Bryan and Bob are still great friends. And once again Bryan is letting BC mix another great album for him. In fact, this may turn out to be his best since the 80's!

Bruce Springsteen>

Bob's mixed a fantastic live DVD and album from the Boss' incredible Seeger Sessions tour. If you didn't catch the show, you've got to see this DVD, and hope they tour again so you can catch it—the show is not to be missed! It was superbly recorded by FOH mixer John Cooper.

Patti Scialfa

<Patti Scialfa

Bob has known Patti since they both worked at Mediasound Studios in NY during the 70's. Bob used to engineer demos for her during off-hours. He's just mixed her third brilliantly soulful album here at Mix This! that was produced by Ron Aniello, with help from Steve Jordan and Bruce Springsteen.

The Small Stars

The Small Stars

Miles Zuniga and Jeff Groves, a.k.a. "Guy Fantasy" and "Buddy Llamas" from the band Fastball started this fascinating ensemble from Reno, Nevada (they're actually from Austin, Texas) a couple of years ago. Bob feels this is the most fun and one of the best albums he's had the pleasure to mix in years. They're still unsigned, but you can get this great album from their web site: http://thesmallstars.com

Bryan Ferry

<Bryan Ferry

Being somewhat of a Bob Dylan fan, Bryan has added to his aggregation of cover albums with this fascinating collection of some of Dylan's greatest songs, titled "Dylanesque". It was a pleasure for Bob to work with producer Rhett Davies once again on this extremely satisfying offering.

The Finn Brothers
Tim and Neil Finn (Split Enz, Crowded House) recorded an amazing new album with a variety of A-list producers, including Tony Visconti, Jon Brion and Mitchell Froom. Pictured above are Kevin, David Boucher (who's been engineering for them with Mitchell) Mitchell, Neil, Tim and BC.

Wet, Wet, Wet >

The last record Bob mixed for these guys was The Troggs' "Love is All Around" for the film "Four Weddings and a Funeral" which was #1 in the British charts for 15 weeks (beaten only by "Everything I Do...", which BC also mixed). They've gotten back together and done another excellent, self-produced pop album that BC has once again mixed for them.

Wets

Some friends, including Jon Brion and one of Bob's heros, Eddie Kramer came over for dinner the other night. Eddie impressed us all with his remarkable cooking skills in our new outdoor kitchen.
